Chicago(+1.5) at Charlotte(-1.5)
The Bobcats have been on a role, they have won 3 in a row all on the west coast and now come home to play the road weary Bulls. Chicago has been a funny team of late, they seem to beat the better teams at home and struggle against the league's worst teams on the road. Now they must travel to Charlotte and take on this Bobcats team that finally seems to be clicking at the right time. Another great stat is the fact that on 2 days rest the Bulls are 6-9-1 ATS compared to Charlotte's 7-3 ATS in that same scenario. I just can't see myself betting against the Cats tonight, especially when the Bulls like to play Jekyll and Hide when it comes to showing up for their games. Coach Larry Brown has made significant improvements to this Charlotte team and i expect their run of good play to carry over into tonight.

Ever since Detroit's management decided to crazy glue Allen Iverson to the bench, the Piston 's have played much better beating the Celtic's and Magic both on the road. Denver on the other hand has had a difficult time winning on the road no matter who they play and now they have to face the revitalized Piston's without their star Carmelo Anthony who is serving a one game suspension tonight. Theirs also the side drama of Chauncey Billups returning to Detroit to face his old team, and some cappers are calling for him to carry the Nuggets to victory just to show up his former team. I just can't see how one man can elevate a whole team, especially a team that has struggled on the road versus some really bad competition. Tonight i believe the Piston's continue to add to their winning way's and i would not be surprised if this team strings together a few in a row in the next couple of weeks, just to try and make up ground for that horrible losing streak(or thrown games) they went through in their last dozen games.

Memphis(+15) at L.A. Lakers(-15)
The Lakers have had good success with scoring a lot of points at home, the over is 20-11 in their last 31 games. Memphis should be able to help out, they play no defense and have been involved in 15 overs in their last 26 games. Even with Kobe's teeth problems(lol), I'm pretty sure the Lakers will smile all the way to the bank but laying 15 points is way to risky. I can throw meaningless stats at you all day like the over is 9-4 in the last 13 Tuesday games in L.A. but the fact that the Lakers have shown at time's they can't even play defense against bad teams leads me to believe the over is the only way to go.
