The Colorado Avalanche come into this contest winners of 3 in a row and skating on all cylinders. The Columbus Blue Jackets are riding a 2 game winning streak and have had good success versus this Dallas Stars team this year. They have beaten the Avalanche twice this year both games played in Colorado and both by 2 or more goals. This is a good revenge spot for the Avalanche who are already on a roll and have the motivation to avenge the 2 home losses this year. With the public riding the Jackets and the line set lower than usual for this type of underdog, i will bite and take the Stars in an upset.

The Vancouver Canucks have struggled since Roberto Loungo went on the shelf, then backup Curtis Sanford went down and it has not been a pretty site. The Canucks have lost 7 of their last 10 and 2 in a row at home. They will have to deal with a Devils team who have come into their own lately and besides a loss in Anaheim the other night have shown signs of getting back on track. I will once again ride the underdog tonight in hopes that the Canucks struggles continue.
