Hello again my friends and welcome back, sorry for the late post but i have had alot on my plate today so im hurrying to catch up. Well yesterday we saw the Philadelphia Eagles eliminate the super bowl champion New York Giants in a windy and cold afternoon affair. Donovan McNabb made all the big plays that Manning did not, and the Eagles eliminated the New York Giants 23-11 Sunday to reach the NFC title game for the fifth time in eight seasons. McNabb lunged for one touchdown, threw for another and converted several key third downs to move the sixth-seeded Eagles (11-6-1) into next Sunday's title game at Arizona (11-7). Philadelphia beat the Cardinals 48-20 on Thanksgiving night. David Akers added three field goals - extending his NFL record to 18 straight in the postseason and helped to fend off the top-seeded Giants (12-5). The swirling winds played havoc with any ball in the air, and also helped skew the score: This was the first game in NFL history to finish 23-11, the Elias Sports Bureau said. McNabb converted a third-and-20 to set up Akers' 34-yard kick for a 13-11 lead in the third quarter. On the first play of the fourth quarter, he made a perfect play-action fake for a 1-yard TD toss to Brent Celek. Manning was in trouble from the start. His first pass wobbled out of his hand, and got caught in the wind that missed a wide-open receiver. Manning ended up 15-for-29 with two interceptions, often overthrowing his targets. The Giants did not score a touchdown and lost for the fourth time in five games. By the final two minutes, more than half the crowd had left; Big Blue hasn't won a playoff game at Giants Stadium since 2000. Philly fans headed down the New Jersey Turnpike after another big win for their city, and remembering the Phillies winning the World Series in October. The Eagles won for the second time this season at the Meadowlands, and were the only team to win on Giants' turf this year. Well there's a bit of information on a well played game that seen the two teams go under the total which was set at (39.5). I'm sure the weather played a huge role in the game plans of these 2 teams but in the long run the Eagles were able to out execute the Giants. Philadelphia has a chance to reach the super bowl with a win at Arizona next week, their defense is hot so watch out for this Eagles team.

NHL

10:35 pm(est)
Tampa Bay at LA Kings

One of two games scheduled for today features teams with struggling offenses and tough defense. The Kings are notorious for going under the total, covering 7 of their last 10 while the Tampa bay lightning have gone under in 3 of their last 5. These teams have also gone under the total 6 0f their last 7 meetings including 4 in a row leading up to tonights game. I expect much the same thing tonight and will be riding the unders streak in this series.

Betting on: Under 5.5 (-115)

Final Score:
Tampa Bay 3
LA Kings 1 (win) under 5.5
