Detroit(+3) at Atlanta(-3)
I just can't understand why this line has the Piston's as underdogs, Its obvious to me that this is a perfect revenge spot for one of the hotter teams in the league right now. The Atlanta Hawks have won the first 2 meeting this year between these them but the Hawks have been struggling lately and I'm not sure some home cooking is going to fix that. Detroit is out to prove that they are still a force in the East and it will start with breaking into the win column against this young Atlanta team. The Hawks have lost 7 of their last 10 games, while the Piston's have reeled off 4 in a row since benching Allen Iverson(or since he hurt his back if you really want to believe that). Detroit has also gone 5-o ATS in their last 5 games so its safe to say they are now the new money maker in the league. One other key note to this game is that the Piston's sit in the 6th spot in the playoff picture while Atlanta is in the 4th spot just a few games ahead of them. I really think the Piston will come out strong here to climb one game closer to this young hawks team who has embarrassed them in their first 2 meetings this year.

Charlotte(+3.5) at New York(-3.5)
I can't believe the knicks are favored here, this team cannot play any defense and they go cold shooting during the game way too much. This team seems to fall behind every game they play before they step on the gas and start playing better, but the problem with that is they always have to play "catch up" basketball which is very tiring come late fourth quarter. I seem to be in the minority with this pick but i really like the Bobcats here. Charlotte has won their last 5 games and have also gone 5-0 ATS in the same time frame. They are playing much better defense then the Knicks and have a bit of revenge on their minds for a loss they suffered to New York back on December 30 in Charlotte.

Indiana(-5) at L.A. Clippers(+5)
This is just a fade of the Clippers who are one of the worst teams in the league right now. The Pacers have been playing some good ball of late and have actually been a better team since the injuries to some of their better players. Indiana has won 6 of their last 10 games and have gone 8-2 ATS in that same time frame. The Clippers are a mess, they have lost 7 of their last 10 and are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games. Both of these teams have the same defensive numbers but the Pacers average around 105 points per game in their last 5, versus the Clippers average of 89 points per game in the same period of time. I can't see how the Clippers keep this close even at home, this team has been a disappointment all year long.
