L.A. Lakers (+2.5) at San Antonio(-2.5)
I can't believe the Lakers are getting points for the second night in a row, this is truly a gift from the gambling gods. I do acknowledge the fact that San Antonio is a good team and battle tested against the very best, but they do not match up well with the Lakers who have way too much offensive fire power in my opinion. The Lakers have done well against the spread versus the Spurs in this series, as a matter of fact L.A. has covered the last 4 times these teams have met. Their are some who will shy away from the Lakers tonight because of them playing last night in Houston. But L.A. has done quite well on no days rest going 10-5 ATS in those situations and 2-0 as a 3 point underdog this year. I look for Kobe and company to get hot and start showing the rest of the western conference that they are still the team to beat in front of a nationally televised audience.

The Phoenix Suns have struggled recently losing 5 in a row and 7 of their last 10 games. Their defense is weak as they are giving up an average of around 117 points per game in their last 5 contests. It is safe to say that the Suns are no longer the force they once were under then head coach Mike DiAntoni who is now in New York. The Cavaliers on the other hand are still looking to gain control of the best record in the eastern conference, I expect them to be highly motivated for this game and try to rid themselves of that awful taste in their mouth that was left when they almost lost to the Clippers on Tuesday night.
