The Calgary Flames have been in a tailspin of late, they have lost 3 in a row and have been completely frustrated with their recent performances on the ice. The Ducks have done no better losing 2 in a row on the road coming into this contest, and on top of that they have not fared well in Calgary the last few years going 1-4 in their last 5 trips. The home team in this series has usually dominated, the records indicate a 21-5-1 home team edge in the last 27 games.
