My beloved Rangers are in a tailspin as of late, they have lost 5 in a row and their offense has seemed to have disappeared. This team just cant find a way to score and their power play is as bad as their defense which has given up an average of 4.20 goals per game in their last 5 contests. Washington on the other hand has been lighting up the opposition, they are averaging around 4.60 goals per game in their last 5 contests. The Capitals are 1-7 in their last 8 trips to New York but most of those games were when the Rangers had a little bit better team and the Capitals were not all that great, this year they have played 3 times and Washington has won all 3 games including a 5-4 victory in New York back on Dec 23 in overtime.
